I've been behind a camera for over fifteen years. What started as a hobby — photographing friends at weekend hikes and local events around the Pacific Northwest — turned into a career I'm genuinely grateful for every day.

I specialize in three distinct areas because I believe specialization leads to better work. Weddings require patience and invisibility. School portraits need warmth and the ability to put a nervous kid at ease in under sixty seconds. Product photography demands technical precision and a sculptor's eye for light.

Each discipline is different, but the goal is the same: deliver an image that the client looks at and feels something.

My approach

For weddings and portraits, I work with available and natural light whenever possible. Studio strobes come out for product work, where precision matters more than spontaneity.

I keep my client roster intentionally small. I'd rather do outstanding work for a hundred couples per year than mediocre work for three hundred. If you're looking for a volume shooter, I'm probably not your person. If you want someone who treats your session like the only one on the calendar that day, let's talk.
